The Greatest Story
The little Baby Jesus
Was born upon the hay.
Along came the angel sending
Shepherds on their way.
Out came the bright star
For Wise Men and their gold.
And that is the greatest
Story ever told.

Nashua Public School late delays and public AM Kindergarten cancellations DO NOT effect our hours or regular class sessions.

NCLC Pastor’s Corner
Merry Christmas to you and your family! I am sure you are very busy with all the shopping and gatherings of family and friends. When we give gifts to our family and friends this season, we follow the pattern that God showed when He gave Himself to us in human form as Jesus Christ. He came to show how much He loves us by paying the penalty for our sin. He sacrificed Himself because He wants a relationship with us. So, during the Christmas season, please take time to enjoy your family and friends and remember that God loves you and wants a relationship with you.
Bible Story Themes: During the weekly Bible story and follow up activity in December, the children will be learning about Jesus’ birth. They will learn that Jesus’ birth was foretold by the prophets hundreds of years before He was born, that God came to earth in human form to show He loves us by paying the penalty for our sin. He loves us and wants to have a relationship with us. They will learn how Jesus’ birth was different than any human child and that shepherds and wise men from far away came to celebrate his birth.
Your child will be bringing home pictures they have colored and possibly a craft project relating to the stories they have heard. Please ask them about the story. It will help them remember.
Chapel Dates and Times: Community Chapel pastors will have 30 minute chapel for NCLC children on December 16th and 17th starting at 9:30 in the sanctuary at Community Chapel. Parents are welcome to attend.
You’re Invited to “Journey to Bethlehem”:
You and your family are invited to Community Chapel on Dec. 5th between 6 and 8pm and 6th between 1 and 3 pm or between 5 and 7 pm to enjoy a Christmas Experience. There are lots of activities for children. Admission and parking are free. I hope you will come!
A Request: If there are any changes in your family, please let me know. Changes in the family, the death of a grandparent or even the loss of a well-loved pet, can deeply affect a child. We would like to be aware so that we can help your child through this difficult time. And, I would like to pray for you and your child and help you in any way that I or Community Chapel can help.
If you have any questions about my role at NCLC, the Bible curriculum, helping your child develop his/her relationship with God, or any family concerns, please call me at NCLC, 603-883-4356.
Hope you have a great Christmas season!
Pastor Shirley (Kaltenbach)
