The marvelous thing about learning style is that every teacher can help to provide a warm prevailing breeze to lift all those “Kites” and help them soar. Sometimes the strings may get tangled up, but now we can understand how a little more dimension and space can keep them free and flying.

Spring Fundraiser
How does that fundraiser money get used?
We know that parents may question the reason for fundraising campaigns and we know that they may become burdensome. We want you to know how much we depend on the proceeds and how much we appreciate your loyalty and participation.
Proceeds from each sale enable us to keep the cost of tuition down and allow us to provide an enriched school experience for your child. Our fall fundraiser earned $1025.00. We hope that our spring fundraising campaign will surpass our profits from our fall campaign.
I would like to share with you how the proceeds are being spent. Here are some of the exciting things we have already done and plan to do for the remainder of the school year.
Special Events
- The Greg and Axel Magic Show
- Fall Apple Cider Press Workshop
- Steve Blunt Concert
- Spring Maple Sugaring Workshop

NCLC Pastor’s Corner
March is here already! The days are getting longer. I hope you and your family have had an opportunity to enjoy this winter. It is almost over.
This month we began the season of Lent on March 1st. Lent is the 40 days before Easter when we think about how God demonstrated His love for us by paying the price for our sin on the cross. I hope you and your family take some time to reflect on why that was necessary, and how willing God was to do that for us. He must love us a lot!
The children will be singing the song “Hosanna” this month in preparation for Palm Sunday which is April 9th and Easter, April 16th. It is a fun song. Even the younger toddlers enjoy it. We will be singing it together in Chapel – April 4th and 5th. Hope you can come and sing it with us.
Your child will be bringing home pictures they have colored and possibly a craft project relating to the story they have heard. Please ask them about the story. It will help them remember.
A Request: If there are any changes in your family, please let me know. Changes in the family, even the loss of a well-loved pet, can deeply affect a child. We would like to be aware so that we can help your child through this difficult time. And, I would like to pray for you and your child and help you in any way that I or Community Chapel can help.
If you have any questions about my role at NCLC, the Bible curriculum, helping your child develop his/her relationship with God, or any family concerns, please call me at NCLC, 603-883-4356.

Nancy’s Notes
Dear Parents,
This month, it seemed like just about every snow day fell on a Monday or Tuesday, so we did not get to have many music classes! I was able, however, to bring in my flute one day and the children sang “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” to my flute accompaniment. Then they each had a turn to press the keys to make different sounds while I blew through the mouthpiece. We also had lots of fun playing my resonator bells. These are individual wooden blocks with a metal bar across the top (which is why the children call them “xylophones”). We play the bells by striking them with a rubber-tipped mallet. Half of the bells play the note “A” and the other half play “D”. We practiced trying to make our voices match the pitch of the bell, and then we sang “Frere Jacques”, and “I’m a Bell” while playing different rhythms on the bells.
In March, I will bring back the violin so that everyone who missed it because of snow days will be able to have a chance to play. We will also be doing musical activities with rainbow streamers, balls, and my kitchen instruments. Hopefully, no more snow days!
Happy Singing, Nancy
